Melissa has traveled extensively and has many years experience of Alpine race coaching and has a varied career resulting in many professional qualifications and life experiences, far to numerous to list here. She has attained the highest qualification for a ski coach in Austria. Melissa grew up in the montains and was on skies from the age of two, her early years of ski racing was in the Tyrolean Alps. Experienced racer who is still currently competing, Becky has won many British national championships in her career to date on both snow and plastic. Becky is currently ranked 5th in Great Britain in the Super G discipline, 7th in Giant Slalom and 8th in Downhill.

Becky is still competing and will be helping the academy out during the winter season, in her spare time in between the 30 to 40 races she competes in every year, as well as coaching on our summer camps. She is a qualified coach having optained her Alpine Performance Coaching qualification - APC 1 in 2006. Becky who is 20 years of age is currently our youngest coach but more than makes up for that by having "her finger on the pulse" in the ski racing world as a current competitior.

We are currently interviewing for part time coaching staff for the 2007 and 2008 season. We are looking to recruit coaches that will add further technical expertise to our team as well as assistant coaches to assist our main coaching team. Any interested party should email there CV to training@alpine-racing.co.uk. Applicants are advised that travel to FIS races within Europe will be an essential part of the job and a clean driving licence is essential.

Our aim is to combine philosophies and technical skills to bring to our athletes a high level quality of professional training. Not just in terms of on the hill training and fitness programs but also in terms of motivation and confidence building.
