John
O'Neill
John has over 20 years experience in running his own businesses, which
have mainly been involved with international logistics. This service industry
is very demanding and time critical; therefore John is used to meeting
customer's high expectations in the shortest possible time. This has helped
to create a very successful sports academy within 2 years. His drive for
constant improvements and the desire to be a top quality establishment
has helped to ensure the academy is already recognized as a top location
for alpine race training. John's sound financial / business experience
and personal financial investment has ensured a sound financial future
for the academy.
John has also been involved with his wife Claire for many years in the
sport, due to the involvement of their two older daughters at an early
age. Over the years he has sat on the committee of Sandown Park ski race
club as well as the BARSC committee and has helped out as an official
on both Snow and plastic races, he has always enjoyed organising and helping
out whenever he can within the sport.
Claire
O'Neill
Claire has been involved with ski racing for over 12 years through
having two daughters participate in the sport from the ages of 6 and seven
years old. She has been on many a race camp over the years and has helped
out whenever she was needed. Whilst helping with the management of the
academy Claire also assists with the pastoral care at the academy and
helps out with any other chores that need doing. Being a mother of three
children, two girls and one boy, she is used to having lots of young people
around the place and being the main taxi driver for the children and their
friends, it was therefore an easy transition for her to also help out
with the driving at the academy.
