Exciting job opportunities in a sporting environment in the Austrian Alps - This is not like your normal winter resort job

All BARA staff whatever their role, must be comfortable in a young persons sports environment and have an understanding of the pressures a young athlete faces and the highs and lows of competing in an individual sport. They must possess extremely good interpersonal skills; they will need to be warm, caring, enthusiastic and approachable.

At BARA we are committed to providing a safe environment for the athletes and as such all our staff will be fully vetted and CRB checked by our sports governing body, SnowsportGB. Our staff will be made aware of our Child Protection Policy which gives guidelines for good practice and care of children (i.e. under 18's) within snow sports, and for general care of children and vulnerable adults.

We have a variety of positions at the academy which become available from time to time, as most of our staff come back year on year. This is because we strive to create a vibrant and happy environment at the academy which then creates a positive attitude which is fed through to our young trainees. We do this by ensuring we have a good team spirit where everyone helps each other, this is achieved by ensuring that the working day is no more than 5 to 6 hours, which normally is split between morning and evenings, which then leaves the middle part of the day and therefore plenty of time for staff to have the time to enjoy their stay in the Austrian Alps. It is hard work but it is also a fantastic lifestyle if you enjoy the mountains, skiing and winter sports.

The positions we have at the academy are listed below, we will be recruiting this year for some of these positions due to expansion, if you are interested in putting your name down for consideration for any of these positions and would like a full description of duties and the package we offer, please email us. Each of these positions also include general duties and helping other staff when needed.
